Sweet Tooth
Sweet Tooth was a Netflix show based on a DC Comics book. Not only it was a good show. It was unique, emotional, gripping and sometimes surreal. The adventure and charm reminds me a bit of Jim Henson and George Lucas. There were some characters that were ranged from being likable throughout believable. Plus, I like this gopher character, “Bobby”. I just found him to be adorable and he looks a bit like a teddy bear. But in the comics version, he looks like reanimated roadkill and I agree that this show made some of the characters better than the comics.Regardless of thinking Marvel is better, I personally think not all modern DC Comics movies or shows are bad. Some of them are good such as Shazam and 1984 Wonder Woman. I personally think Sweet Tooth was the best of DC Comics.
Friday Night Funkin’
Since I don’t play video or computer games often. I discovered this compelling computer game on the Internet. I just found out what this game is. However, I found this game kind of hard to play. I did some research about who are these behind. Believe it or not, Newgrounds made this game to expand their website. Just like Star Wars created Baby Yoda to expand their franchise. I remembered Newgrounds. Despite this website was aimed to teens and adults alike. I was in the wrong demographic back then and I played that Build The Robot Two Game and Tails’ Nightmare. Heck! I even download some music covers like The Mystic Mansion from Sonic Heroes throughout Still Alive Remix from Portal (even though I didn’t know Portal back then). It happens way back when I was eight throughout ten years of age. Newgrounds was part of my childhood memory alongside with Poptropica and Neopets. Moving on! Friday Night Funkin’ was a rhythm game involving a blue haired boy who has to compete against the evil father to rescue his girlfriend. There are some characters like The Tankman which is Newground’s official mascot, Pico who’s an unofficial mascot of this website and appears in a first but a controversial computer game. There’s Skid and Pump from Sr Pelo’s Spooky Month and The Lemon Monster that some fans rumored it was based on a musical pseudonym of an internet comedian or musician named, “Neil Cicierega”. Don’t forget Mommy’s Mearest and Senpai. I would personally rate this game as good. I kind of enjoyed it and it made me signed in to Newgrounds other than my childhood memory I had before. What I like about it the most is the character’s designs are cute, Skid and Pump’s appearance. It’s mainly because Halloween is my favorite holiday and I like Sr. Pelo for his absurd sense of humor or silly faces. What else are some of things I like about this game is how it made Newgrounds really iconic. What if this game was beloved by the website’s demographic in the future? Although, I changed my mind on this opinion.
Luca
Here is one more real thought! My real thought on this upcoming movie, “Luca” is I don’t like and I don’t think I want to see it just like my thought on Boss Baby 2: Family Business. What I don’t like about Luca is the art style feels too off for Pixar that the character designs looked like something out of a Grubhub’s commercial. Pixar, please! You can do better design than this and I believing you! Don’t get wrong! Appreciate Pixar for it’s significance. There’s Pixar’s best classics such as Inside Out, Monster’s INC, Toy Story one throughout four, Up, Ratatouille and my favorite that is The Incredibles. Since Cars franchise was Pixar’s mistake. Why do they create some of these off putting character designs today!? While I have nothing against to modern Disney and Pixar films. I like Wreck-it Ralph and Zootopia. Last time, I have seen Raya And The Last Dragon. I personally think this movie is OK. I like the designs of the dragons. It had unique mix of an asian drgaon with a hint of western. But, I’m not going to watch Luca EVER! Just like the even worse sequel of Boss Baby! I’m sure it’s fine for young children to watch these. However, I avoided these two awful movies! What good movies I was excited to see is Space Jam 2: The New Legacy, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Hotel Transylvania 4: Transformania, and Jungle Cruise.
